 Dr. Arne Bergmann is appointed Director, Sales & Marketing for Europe/Russia. He is responsible for leading John Deere, Construction & Forestry Sales and Marketing operations in Europe and Russia. Arne will be located in Tampere, Finland, and focus on executing the John Deere worldwide Forestry strategy by developing and growing both the Cut To Length and Full Tree Forestry operations in Europe and Russia. In this position he is also responsible for further improvement of John Deere business, exploring and implementing new growth initiatives in Europe and in Russia. The John Deere Forestry owned Retail operations in Ireland, United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden and Finland will directly report to him.
John Deere Forestry has about 900 employees in Europe and in Russia. More than 30 independent dealers sell John Deere Forestry equipment around Europe.
