Andreas Kogler, owner-manager of the Kogler GmbH in Liebenfels, Austria is going to sell his sawmill to Hasslacher Drauland Woodindustry. Up to the end of the current year administration and operations of the Kogler mill won't change. New manager is Stefan Kulterer, head of the roundwood purchase at Hasslacher. He and Kogler are going to elaborate a consolidated concept for the merger of the two factories.
Both partners agreed not to disclose the purchase price. According to Andreas Kogler, the aim behind the merger of the two sawmilling businesses was to escape ruinous predatory competition.
