As the third ZOW in Shanghai drew to a close recently, it was again hailed as a big success. 165 exhibitors from 16 nations and more than 12,000 trade visitors from China, East and South East Asia, the Americas and Europe ensured that ZOW Shanghai has become a top event for the furniture and interior design industries in the region. Survey Asia even had to introduce a long waiting list this year, as the exhibition space was completely sold out at an early stage. 45% of the exhibitors came from abroad while 55% were from China.
ZOW, which was held in parallel to “Furniture China”, took up more than 6,000 m2 of exhibition space this year. Suppliers’ current product innovations including materials, surfaces, fittings, semi-finished products and components were on display at the event. Once again, the ZOW “Creating Close Contacts” formula for success has proved its worth in Shanghai. A large number of this year’s exhibitors have already reserved a stand for the next show on September 10-13, 2008 at the modern Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
