| Norway: Construction cost index for residential buildings, September 2008 |

The construction cost index of residential buildings remained unchanged from August to September this year. Material costs decreased by 0.1 per cent in this period.
From August to September this year, construction costs of multi-dwelling houses rose by 0.1 per cent, while detached houses of wood decreased by 0.1 per cent.
From September 2007 to September 2008 the construction costs of residential buildings increased by 5.4 per cent, while the material costs rose by 4.2 per cent in the same period. The construction costs of multi-dwelling houses and detached houses of wood rose by 4.8 and 6.3 per cent respectively. |
